La compañía americana Zebra Technologies ha adquido la compañía de tecnología Xplore. El 14 de agosto de 2018 Zebra ha completado la adquisición de Xplore Technologies cuyo anuncio fue hecho el 5 de julio. Con esta nueva adquisición Zebra propone un crecimiento en áreas de portátiles y tablets ultra-rugged y semi-rugged. Un enorme porfolio de soluciones se abre ahora al mercado. What to Expect Next 
With the close of the acquisition now official, we will spend the remainder of 2018 and early 2019 integrating the Xplore business into Zebra. Here is some key information to keep in mind:

  • Until the integration is complete, Xplore and Zebra will operate as two separate entities as well as with two separate partner programs, which means it is business as usual for transacting business with either company. Available SKUs, promotions and other sales incentives as a combined company will not be in effect until post-integration, which is anticipated to be no earlier than October 1 and no later than December 31, 2018. In particular, until we have integrated Xplore products into the Zebra® PartnerConnect program, you will not be able to sell Xplore products through PartnerConnect.
  • Our goal is to offer the Xplore product portfolio as part of the Zebra portfolio, and we will be working on thoughtful execution of any integration efforts, including product access requirements and certifications that best meet the needs of our customers and our overall partner community.
  • Please continue to work with your respective Zebra and Xplore resources and account managers to address portfolio opportunities. We will seek to minimize disruptions, but your channel account manager may change as we move to a single Zebra coverage model. We expect to complete any such changes by December 31, 2018.
